Last night (Sunday, January 24th) at 10pm a group of Texas State students joined together in prayer for the Texas State University campus – for the world, for Haiti, for the students, for the student ministries, for the churches. It was a unified body moving together for a purpose – for His purpose. It was amazing. Thank you, Zachary Selindh, for your desire to have a small group pray together in your dorm room. The event was posted on facebook and the desire spread; God wanted more. And last night 80-100 students gathered out by the stallions to praise, petition, and thank our mighty God. Its wasn’t one ministry or church, but students from all backgrounds and organizations that want to see the Holy Spirit reign over Texas State. It was encouraging to see so many River Stone faces out there, and as the group is going to continue to gather and pray every Sunday at 10pm, please join us. Prayer is where change happens. Lets bring the Kingdom of God to the campus of Texas State.
